Dollar General

This was my first time at this location. The store is larger than others I have been to and carried more items. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I love shopping here because the prices are usually very good and I like to use my DG digital coupons. You can get some really good deals if you watch the sales ads and use your coupons. I was disappointed by the clothing department. It was a bit of a mess and did not seem to have a good selection. I will definitely go back.

New employees need customer service training. They rude, they do not know how to approach customers, the younger once they do the older new people working there are horrible. I used self check out to safe extra cash and I refuse to have much contact, the app immediately takes the money out of your account before you scan your bar code! There is no reason for to ask me if I have paid for my stuff! Get a training on how your system works! Before you stand behind the counter and accuse people of stilling and humiliating me in front of other customers! I been shopping at this branch for over 15 years!!!! And I will not stop due to your unprofessionallisim! You got to go! Not me!

Store is dirty, floors and aisles are cluttered. The shelves are a mess. There was no clear path on the sidewalk or in the entryway. The employees don't want to be there. I heard the manager complaining about her job to one of her vendors. I gave it two stars instead of one because it still has good prices, good selection, and a convenient location.

Absolutely love this dollar general! As a lady who uses tons of "coupons" (where some workers-not at this dg, but get aggravated or can be rude) all the ladies treat me with such respect and have so much patience when purchasing my items which sometimes can be a few carts full ,so that means more coupons to scan! If a coupon does not match the item, the girls are very pleasant explaining why the coupon didn't match and what item they have available for that coupon. They always make sure I am helped to my car if I have multiple carts when I have my 3 year old with me or help load my bags in my cart while trying to keep him occupied! They enjoy seeing how much I save on my transactions just as much as I do ,which honestly keeps me coming back! If more workers/cashiers treated their customers the way these ladies do especially the crazy coupon ladies😉 Dollar general would be even more awesome than it is already!! I definitely felt these girls needed recognized for all the hard work and effort they put into the store as well. I am at the dollar general store at least 2 -3 times a week and they are always working hard making sure all shelves are stocked neatly but also take great care of their customers! Thank you all again!!!

Worse place ever, we used to come here about for 9 years, last 2 years its nothing but a mess in the store and employees as well. We received a military digital coupon via txt on 06/12 as well a huge sign up front door how they honor all Military memeber and 11% off your purchase, we waited 1 hour for the staff to figure out how to do the transaction, we blame poor management of the store, noone knew anything about it, Management wasn't available nor the district? Employee himself complained about how this store been under poor management and no one does anything about it. Than I was told I am sorry leave your ID and come back later!?!?!?! No I am not leaving my ID and my shopping cart and come back later. I am not coming back at all as soon as I get my service. Horrible customer service, long waits and registers are so old, most transactions on busy days start freezing up, where 20 customers just standing and looking at each other in the heat! no AC. Not coming back taking my $ and business across town.

Worst run place I have ever seen. I just witnessed a little old man, who could barley walk, climb out if his tuck , walk up to the door in 15 degree, firgid weather, and it be locked at 8:43pm when the sign and they don’t close till 9pm. When I got out of my car to talk to him, he said it happens all the time. This broke my heart to watch. Who knows what he needed from that store but it was enough to get him out in the cold night to get it. Good luck if you choose to use this business.
